NIU STEM Outreach Director Patricia Sievert has presented science and physics demonstrations to thousands of students at more than sixty schools across the region. She holds an M.S. in Physics Education and teacher certification from NIU and has taught at all levels from elementary to college. She is active in state and national science education organizations. 

Jeremy Benson serves as lead presenter for NIU's STEM demonstration programs and hands-on events, as well as running our STEM Saturday programs and acting as assistant director of NIU's residential summer science camps. Benson holds a Communications degree from Aurora University and is working toward his teaching certification in science along with a Master's degree in Physics Education at NIU.
