Lisa Kaye Bergeron is a Senior Research Associate with the Regional Development Institute, joining the team in 1996. Her primary responsibilities include project management, coordination, research, and technical assistance. Lisa has developed extensive expertise in workforce and labor shed analysis, strategic planning assessments, feasibility studies, needs assessments, and satisfaction surveys. She has worked with numerous local governments, economic development organizations, workforce investment boards, and other local, regional, and statewide organizations.
Current project activities include the implementation of a series of labor market and workforce characteristics studies throughout Illinois for the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. Recent project activities include an economic development feasibility study in the north west suburbs of Illinois, citizen satisfaction surveys for numerous local municipalities and regional organizations, and a variety of wage and benefit studies. Her primary areas of emphasis are workforce development and community and economic development: feasibility studies, community needs assessments, workforce studies, and satisfaction survey research.
Lisa received a Masters of Public Administration (MPA) from California State University - San Bernardino and is completing a Masters of Information Systems (MIS) from Northern Illinois University. She received her Bachelors Degrees in Political Science and Psychology from the University of California - Riverside.
