I have been with Outreach since its inception. Described as “the front door for University Outreach,” I intercept more than 1,000 emails and telephone calls a year pertaining to a variety of outreach related issues from noncredit programming, to activities at the outreach centers, to current curricula of off-campus and online courses.
As Assistant to the Vice President for Administration and University Outreach, I provide support for various Outreach endeavors and projects including maintaining rosters of key players and creating profiles for area community colleges. I am the main resource person for units reporting to the Vice President.
Besides my work at NIU, I have served in many community projects over the years, raised four children (three NIU graduates), and enjoy five grandchildren.
